Secret Guide to Drinking Water

The Secret Guide to Drinking Water in Accordance to Your Body Weight

The need for water per person varies by body weight, although it is generally accepted that an adult should drink about 2 liters of water daily to maintain balance, especially during the summer when fluids are eliminated faster by the body. Meanwhile it is clear that water helps us to lose weight to stay vital and in the form we need to consume water. But how much? It depends entirely on your physiological needs during a given situation and especially weight.

Drinking water by weight

Every person’s body weight affects the need to consume water. For example, a slim body does not need as much water as a person with a higher body weight can. But for every person there is a formula that can turn out to be very useful.

To achieve the exact figure of healthy water consumption is to divide by 2 your body weight. The result of this mathematical operation divided into equal parts is the amount of water your body needs each day.

Example: If you weigh 114 pound and divide it by 2, the result is 57 pounds, which if converted to equal mass is about 5 glasses of water per day.

The formula is: Body weight / 2 = the amount of water per day divided into equal parts.

  • If you practice any sport or intense physical activity, consume 1 liter of water in addition
  • If you are not consuming a lot of fruits or vegetables in your daily diet, consume at least 2 liters of water on a daily basis
  • Hydration is essential if you suffer from any diseases or problems with the immune system. Even in this case consume more water than usual.
